Today is Global Handwashing Day. It is an opportunity for us to remind you of the importance of this practice. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted that handwashing is the most cost-effective way to prevent disease transmission and save millions of lives. Whenever handwashing practices are lacking, it endangers people’s lives and their presence at work or school.

ADED has been working on hand hygiene and behavior change with students for a long time. It remains a priority theme in our 2022-25 program. We organize awareness campaigns for beneficiaries in our current projects in N’Djamena and Sarh.
