ADED is an association for sustainable development, created in Switzerland in 2011. Its mission is to provide technical, managerial and financial support to various sustainable development projects. Our actions in the field of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene contribute to the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the Agenda 2030, in particular Goal 6.
In today’s world, billions of people lack access to basic water and sanitation services. Two out of five people do not have a basic facility to wash their hands with soap and water. However, access to water, sanitation, and hygiene is critical, because access to these basic services prevents infections and controls communicable diseases.
Convinced that we can contribute to the improvement of this access, ADED supports vulnerable populations with a participatory and replicable approach. This is done through awareness, training and promotion of access to water and health.
It is important for ADED to have a close collaboration with its partners. Therefore, the emphasis is put on the human relationship, as it is the driving force behind the transfer of skills and the strengthening of existing capacities in the countries of intervention.
ADED, as an association for sustainable development, accompanies its local partners in the identification of needs, the creation and development of viable and sustainable activities, the search for innovative solutions, the experimentation and the adaptation of appropriate technologies.
